Albota de Sus este un sat şi comună din raionul Taraclia. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Albota de Sus, Sofievca și Roşiţa. Localitatea se află la distanța de 18 km de orașul Taraclia și la 144 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1333 de oameni. Satul Albota de Sus a fost întemeiat în secolul al XVIII-lea.
