Socola este un sat din cadrul comunei Vadul-Raşcov, raionul Șoldăneşti. Amplasat pe malul drept al Nistrului, satul se află la o distanță de 9 km de orașul Șoldănești și la 100 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 356 de oameni. Satul Socola este atestat documentar în 1586.
